Holger Petri has been working as a pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy in Germany for more than 25 years.
During the first years of his professional career he became a specialist in the drug administration via enteral feeding tubes and has written a number of articles to make this issue more popular and known.
Since over ten years he regularly publish articles in trade journals such as the “German Medical Journal” about drug-drug-interactions, especially for those that are CYP Enzymes-mediated, but also about issues like serotonin-syndrome and torsade-de pointes.
Holger Petri is member of the German Society of Hospital Pharmacists (ADKA), the German Pain Association and of the working group “Therapeutic Drug Monitoring” (TDM) of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Neuropsychopharmakologie und Pharmakopsychiatrie” (AGNP). Currently he is involved in the update of the Consensus guidelines for therapeutic drug monitoring in neuropsychopharmacology.
